Carlotta Corradi

Carlotta Corradi was born, lives and works in Rome as a playwright, screenwriter and documentary filmmaker. For theatre she has written, among others, Via dei Capocci, Mario Fratti Award for Playwriting in New York, Peli (Twos are Wild translated by Edward Fortes), published in Italy by Editoria&Spettacolo, Aritmia, finalist at the Hystrio Prize, Accabadora, rewriting of the eponymous novel by Michela Murgia, and finally Nel Bosco (In the Woods, translated by Edward Fortes), winner of the production prize of the 54th Riccione Prize for Theatre, translated into Spanish for the exhibition Nueva Escena Italiana at the Centro Dramático Nacional in Madrid. She also collaborated with Iaia Forte on the theatrical adaptation of Paolo Sorrentino's novel Hanno Tutti Ragione and Elsa Morante's L'Isola di Arturo. She currently writes for cinema and has been part of Playstorm, a project of the Teatro Stabile di Torino dedicated to contemporary theatre writing, curated by Fausto Paravidino.

Carlotta is the author of In The Woods.
