The text is inspired by the recent Italian news of two underage girls who were involved in a child prostitution ring in an affluent neighbourhood of the capital.
As in Little Red Riding Hood, there is a girl, Manu, who stubbornly follows in the footsteps of her classmate Chiara who is involved with customers much older than she is. There are their mothers, very different but connected by the difficult task of witnessing their daughters become women. There are men, who after all do not seem like adult even in the eyes of the two girls. And finally, there is the grandmother.
It is precisely by following the path of this fairy tale - associated with psychoanalysis and the sexual initiation of the girls - that Manu enters a forest attracted by the wolf. But the foliage of the trees does not let the light through, preventing anyone from finding their bearings.
